Reflexology has a history going back 5000 years. Ancient China, Ancient Egypt, more recently Europe and North America have these traditions of healing by triggering reflexes in the feet and hands. These techniques, discovered and rediscovered over time, seek to bring about homeostasis or balance in the body systems. By the correct application of Reflexology, lymph and blood flow can be improved, nerves can function more effectively, and the day to day stresses on our body’s systems can be released.

Reflexology has the potential to do great things. Regular treatments over time can reduce stress related disease symptoms, manage and reduce pain, assist in relaxation.

I am a recent transplant to the Portland area, settling in Beaverton with my husband Jeff. A graduate of Evergreen Center for the Healing Arts as a Certified Reflexologist, I was a member of the final Reflexology class at Evergreen to graduate before the school closed. The school will be dearly missed.

My healing philosophy is one of inclusion. Such that health includes not only the health of the physical body, but the well-being of the mental, psychic, spiritual aspects as well.
