The Moon in the upbeat, positive fire sign Sagittarius over the long Labor Day weekend will help boost sagging spirits
and make people feel they can happily celebrate the holiday. Mercury stays in fun-loving Leo until September 8, which
also increases the party mode of early September.
Mercury returns to practical Virgo late in the evening September
8, and efficiency and productiveness returns. It is an excellent period in the next week to roll up your sleeves and
get busy cleaning those messy closets and starting those tasks that usually feel way too tedious and overwhelming. Venus,
Mercury and the Sun all in the practical earth sign Virgo will aid you in tackling those long put off projects with ease..
There
is a Full Moon September 12 at 19 degrees Pisces at 2:27 AM PDT. Jupiter in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn which formed
a grand trine in earth with the last New Moon in Virgo August 28, now form a grand trine with Mercury in Virgo. This
opens up our vision of possibilities and hopes for expansion and helps us release what is stifling or unproductive.
Much can be overcome with a minimum amount of effort now.
September 14 Venus enters her airy home sign of Libra
and romance begins to return to the scene. More of a balance between work and play beckons us...
Since April
8, Pluto the planet of transformation and rebirth has been retrograde. It goes direct September 16 making its influence
greatly intensified and giving a boost to what we have been working on since early April.
On September 17, the Sun
squares the June 15 lunar eclipse at 24 Sagittarius/Gemini, giving us more impetuous to take giant leap forward. September
18 Mars enters Leo at 6:51 PM PDT which adds a bit of fun playfulness to the mix.
The Autumnal Equinox occurs
September 23 at 2:05 AM PDT. Today the cosmic wheel turns and opens fully to the West. The hours of light and dark are
exactly equal on this first day of fall. The light is fading by tomorrow and the call of dreams and snychronicities
grows stronger.
The Sun's entry into Libra is excellent for clearing the air and gaining a new perspective on
relationships. Libra is the sign of the scales, signifying balance. Mother Nature once again establishes equality
between the forces of light and darkness. The scales also represent the Libran quest for equality, trust and justice.
There
is a New Moon at 4 degrees Libra September 27 at 4:10 AM PDT. With not only the Sun and Moon in the seventh sign, but
also Mercury, Venus, Saturn and the asteroid Juno as well, this New Moon emphasizes the need for fairness, cooperation and
reconciliation. Ask yourself what is out of balance in your life at this time? Then make the needed changes..
Mercury
closely conjuncts the Sun and Moon; all three oppose Uranus in Aries and square Pluto in Capricorn for several days before
and after this New Moon. This dynamic t-square pressures us to "Think outside the box" and take action.
A time to redefine our standards and goals in both our personal life and professional dealings.
My heart is quite
heavy as I write this September Astrology Forecast. It is my understanding that in several weeks, Spirit Feathers will
be closing its doors. Lisa and Tony Bossio will soon be moving to the Midwest to make a brand new start. I wish
them much Joy in their new home together!
It has been an honor and a profound privilege to be Spirit Feathers resident
astrologer for the past two and a half years. I will sorely miss my dear friend Lisa and all the wonderful people I've
met working at Spirit Feathers. My astrology business will continue out of my home and I also will offer phone readings
as I have done for many years. I can be reached at home at
(503) 618-8950 and by cell phone at
(503) 750-4593.
I love doing astrology readings and updates and certainly am looking forward to continuing the great relationships
I've formed with clients I've met at Spirit Feathers. Have a glorious fall friends! Stay in touch!
Love
and Light,
Marsha Nord, M.S.
