On September 8th Jupiter retrogrades back into Pisces for one more lap in this mystical, dreamy sign.  This gives us another chance to pause and reflect before Jupiter charges its way back into fiery, action-oriented Aries on January 22, 20ll.  Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system represents faith, contemplation and compassion in Pisces.  Jupiter remains within three degrees of Uranus in Pisces for several months, expanding our understanding of more subtle dimensions and helping us connect worldly ambitions to  our spiritual ideals.

 

There is also a New Moon in Virgo on September 8th at 3:31 am PDT.  This New Moon illuminates the truth about ourselves and our path toward success in this lifetime.  That is that in order to be of optimum service, we must improve our physical health and diet in order to function skillfully in the physical world.

 

Two planets end their retrograde cycle shortly after this New Moon, showing we are getting prepared to move forward with our plans.  Mercury ends its retrograde phase September 12th.  Mercury spends more than two months in Virgo this cycle (from July 27 to October 3), rather than its usual 3-4 weeks.  This gives us plenty of time to thoroughly recognize and release outgrown habits and  ideas that are holding us back from our highest good.  When Mercury is in Virgo, we become much more cognizant of where we are wasting precious time and energy on criticism and judgment, worry and fear.  What we are thinking about, we attract to us...So think along positive lines and let go of fear and anxiety!

 

Pluto ends its yearly retrograde on September 13th.  We've hopefully had five months to locate areas where we need to take more responsibility.  If we have been willing to own our own shadow and our power, we will be able to make real progress now.

 

Mars enters Scorpio, a sign it co-rules with Pluto on September 14th.  This strengthens our will to act and the courage to confront difficult issues.

 

Jupiter joins electric Uranus September 18th, a second conjunction following their initial one in Aries on June 8th.  Minds will be flashing all over the place  with new insights and intuition!

 

The Sun moves into diplomatic Libra at 8:09 PM September 22nd marking the autumnal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.  Solstices and equinoxes are power times, opening energetic gateways and revealing new options.

 

The Full Moon's peak occurs at 2:18 AM September 23rd, indicating we've come to another big turning point.  This Full Moon highlights the intense, ongoing cardinal t-square involving Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, which has been in close proximity since last spring.

 

The Sun's conjunction with Saturn in Libra shows where we are seeking to experience greater equality and integrity.  The Aries Moon next to Jupiter and Uranus at 28 degrees Pisces at the Full Moon helps us sever ourselves from overly co dependent or addictive patterns.  This Full Moon indicates that we must evolve from duality to unity, from fear based thinking to living our truth.
